An Update on Our Cameroon Coffee
We want to share an update regarding the availability of our Cameroon coffee.
Coffee from Cameroon—particularly specialty Arabica grown in the country’s northwestern highlands—is produced in relatively small quantities. Ongoing regional instability, transportation challenges and limited crop availability have made it increasingly difficult to source and move this coffee reliably.
Coffee is still being produced and exported from Cameroon, but smaller specialty lots can experience longer delays and greater uncertainty than coffees from larger growing regions. Because our Cameroon coffee comes from such a unique and limited origin, replacing it with another comparable lot is not always simple.
While availability is limited, we recommend trying our Ethiopian blend. It is not an exact replacement for Cameroon, but it offers another beautifully complex African coffee. The Ethiopian blend is slightly brighter and more fruit-forward, while still providing the distinctive character and depth our customers appreciate in African-grown coffees.
We understand how many of you look forward to our Cameroon coffee, and we remain committed to sourcing it whenever quality and availability allow. We will continue working with our partners and will keep everyone updated as we learn more.
Thank you for your patience, flexibility and continued support.
